Problem Note 57048: Results of a join operation might differ depending on whether the join is done by the database or by the SAS® software

When joining database tables and SAS tables, you might receive different results depending on whether the join is performed by the database or by SAS. Queries containing SAS functions that cannot be passed to the database cause the join to be done in SAS. When the join is done in SAS, the results might be different than if the join had been done in the database.
